No. I just thought. It may have come off and been swallowed by the / another shark.
But, let's be honest, in the grand scheme of things a 3 metre Great White is not exactly big for that species. Average Great White's range from around 4 metres to 5.5 metres. Females grow the largest and many fully grown adult females are 6 metres in length.
So it's not too difficult to predict that a large female was a bit peckish and took a chomp. Problem is the programme was sort of intimating there may be some sort of super predator that we aren't aware of.

Eh?? Do sharks nowmally go around eating tags then?? Think personally makes a lot more sense that a smaller GW gets attacked and chomped by a much bigger GW

gregan... on channel 5... decent bit of TV... they had tagged a 3m female GW and had worked out that it had been eaten ... the suspects (that all fed in the same area)
